“State an allowance” counts the plans whose own listing gives a full-speed figure. A blank is not an accusation: a provider may set out a policy in terms we do not fetch. What this table measures is what each provider publishes with the plan itself.

Why this matters more than the price
An unlimited plan with a 5 GB daily allowance and one with a 1 GB allowance are different products at the same name. On a heavy day the first keeps working and the second drops to a speed where video stops and maps get slow. Neither is dishonest — but only one of them tells you before you buy.
The plans that state a figure are not automatically the more generous ones. They are the ones you can check.
How to read an unlimited plan
Look for the daily allowance, not the word. If a plan states one, compare it against what you actually use — roughly half a gigabyte a day for maps and messaging, one to two with music and browsing, three or more if you stream or tether.
Check the speed after the limit. 1 Mbps still carries maps, messages and standard-definition video. A few hundred kbps does not.
Compare unlimited on price per day, never per gigabyte. An unlimited plan has no gigabyte count to divide by, which is why this site ranks it separately.
How this page is made
Every figure comes from the same nightly crawl that fills the rest of the site — the plan listings each provider publishes, read 8 September 2026 and re-read daily. Where a provider gives the allowance as a field, it is read as a field; where it is printed beside the plan, it is read there and quoted above.
Counts change when catalogues change. If a provider starts publishing its limit, this page will say so the next morning without anyone editing it.
