Some providers show the number right on the page. Others only show it after you pick the unlimited plan. Both count here, because both come from the provider — but only the first kind can be quoted, which is why the wording below covers fewer providers than the table above.

Why this matters more than the price
An unlimited plan with a 5 GB daily allowance and one with a 1 GB allowance are different products with the same name. On a heavy day the first keeps working and the second drops to a speed where video stops and maps get slow. Neither is dishonest — but only one of them tells you before you buy.
The plans that state a figure are not automatically the more generous ones. They are the ones you can check.
How to read an unlimited plan
Look for the daily allowance, not the word. If a plan states one, compare it against what you actually use — roughly half a gigabyte a day for maps and messaging, one to two with music and browsing, three or more if you stream video or share your connection as a hotspot.
Check the speed after the limit. 1 Mbps is still enough for maps, messages and basic-quality video. Much slower speeds, like a few hundred kbps, are not.
Compare unlimited on price per day, never per gigabyte. An unlimited plan has no gigabyte count to divide by, which is why this site ranks it separately.

Do unlimited eSIMs really give unlimited data?
Most run at full speed up to a daily allowance and then slow down. Of the 31,407 unlimited plans tracked here, 15,346 (49%) state that full-speed allowance with the plan, from 11 of the 21 providers that sell unlimited plans. The rest do not state a figure with the plan itself, which does not mean there is no limit.
